Terms of use

Effective

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading or using Pill Reminder & Habit Tracker ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is made by Winton Gee ("we" or "us"). It keeps your medications and daily habits in one checklist and reminds you at the times you set.

2. Not medical advice and not a medical device

This app is a reminder and checklist. Always follow your prescriber's instructions.

  • The app is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
  • Nothing in the app or on this website is medical advice. The schedules you enter are your own; the app does not check them.
  • Questions about what to take, when to take it, or what to do after a missed dose belong with your prescriber or pharmacist.
  • In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

3. Reminders

Reminders are delivered by iOS and depend on your iPhone's settings and state. Notification permission, Focus, Scheduled Summary, an iPhone that is off or out of battery, and other device settings can delay or prevent a reminder. We cannot guarantee that every reminder arrives. If a dose must not be missed, use more than one way to remember it.

4. Eligibility and requirements

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.
  • The app runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later.

5. Free use and Pro

The free version includes every feature for up to 3 items. Pro unlocks unlimited items and is available as:

  • Pro monthly: an auto-renewing subscription, $5.99 a month in the US (prices vary by region)
  • Pro yearly: an auto-renewing subscription, $19.99 a year in the US (prices vary by region)
  • Pro lifetime: a one-time purchase, $49.99 in the US (prices vary by region)

Subscription terms

  • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Canceling stops the next renewal; the subscription stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

6. Apple's standard license

The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (opens in a new tab), together with these terms. If the two conflict, Apple's agreement applies to the license. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

7. Your data

Your items and history are stored only on your iPhone. You are responsible for that device and its backups; if the app or the device is deleted or lost, the data may be lost with it. See the privacy policy for details.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every reminder will be delivered, or that defects will be corrected.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WINTON GEE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING DAMAGES ARISING FROM A MISSED OR LATE REMINDER, A MISSED DOSE, OR LOSS OF DATA. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Intellectual property

The app, including its design and content, is owned by Winton Gee and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or reverse engineer it, except as the law allows.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Using the app after that date means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
