Questions and answers
What is Pill Reminder & Habit Tracker?
Pill Reminder & Habit Tracker is an iPhone app that puts your medications and daily habits in one checklist. It reminds you at each time you set and sends one follow-up if you have not checked the item off. It is made by Winton Gee.
Is it free?
Yes, for up to 3 items, with every feature included. Pro unlocks unlimited items for $5.99 a month, $19.99 a year, or $49.99 once.
How do the reminders work?
You get a reminder at each time you set. If the item is still unchecked, one follow-up arrives. An item marked Important gets a time-sensitive first reminder and a second follow-up. You can tap Done or In 10 minutes right on the notification.
Can I take a medication more than once a day?
Yes. Each daily time is its own check, so a twice-a-day medication shows up as two items to check off, each with its own reminder.
How is it different from the Health app's Medications?
Apple's Medications feature in the Health app covers medications, vitamins and supplements, with dose reminders, follow-up reminders and optional Critical Alerts. Pill Reminder & Habit Tracker puts medications and habits, such as a walk or a glass of water, in one checklist, sets each item up on one screen, and has no streaks.
Is it a medical app?
No. It is not a medical device. This app is a reminder and checklist. Always follow your prescriber's instructions.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing is lost. The app has no streaks to break, and the history shows the last 14 days so you can see how the week went. If you miss a dose of a medication, ask your pharmacist or prescriber what to do.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone. There is no account, nothing is uploaded and nothing is tracked. Reminders are scheduled on the device.
What does it need to run?
An iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The app is in English.
